Please Join Us for the Civil Society/African Women’s Entrepreneurship Program (AWEP) Session of the 16th Annual United States - Sub-Saharan Africa Trade and Economic Cooperation Forum (also known as the AGOA Forum) in Lomé, Togo. 

The theme of this year's event is: "Civil Society and AWEP Using AGOA to Build Prosperity by 2025, and the event will offer pre  and post Forum activities, including seminars, skill development workshops,  B2B networking, and a site visit.

 The 3-day event begins on 7 August with  presentations on the AGOA Country Utilization Strategy, and Infrastructure and Transportation Linkages, followed by the CSO/AWEP and Private Sector Joint Session of the 2017 AGOA Forum on 8 August at the Radisson Blu Hotel, and concludes on 9 August with skills development workshops, a site visit, and B2B networking.

Please note: Capacity is limited, and you must register and pay registration fees, not later than July 27, 2017 in order to allow for accreditation process for this event.

Visa Information

The Government of Togo has declared that it will give “courtesy” visas to all AGOA Forum participants, both for visas issued at its embassies and upon arrival in Lome.  You should bring a copy of your AGOA Forum registration confirmation e-mail to show the immigration agent. 

Air travel to or from Lome will require proof of yellow fever immunization to board a flight.
